b18 wireing

ok guys i am at the point of getting the wires plugged up. just wondering witch wires i had to modify. does anybody have a site where i can find the info. oh it a non vtec

its the same as the SI wiring.....just do the MPFI conversion.......info is avaliable on www.4thgenerationcivic.com

hum, I can pick one up (out of 93 teg, think its vtec but might be wrong) for $400, may just do that.

if its VTec then its the B17.....that was the GSR Motor....it only came in 93's

thats when it was introduced.....the GS-R didnt exist before 1993.....it continued on in the 94+ models

oh, thought you ment they only used that motor for 1 year and it was discontinued or something. Not much of a honda motor guru ... yet

I think he did mean it was only in for 1 yeah because 94+ used the b18c1
Edit: the GS-R was first made in '92 so the b17 was in the '92-'93's. It's a 1.7L 160hp motor, very rare of course.

ya.....it was a 1.7L.....as opposed to the 1.8 that came standard....I still think it was a cool motor....I know a guy with one that built to the nuts stroked to a 2.4L

I'll go look at it and see if its a 1.7, I know its a 93 and I'm 95% possative its vtec, if it is I might pick it up just to have one. guessing the wiring on it is the same as 1.8 with vtec added?
