my transmission broke can i have yours

it was a night like any other cars, gurls, fun, and the police right around the corner. as usual there were some people doing donuts in the parking lots trying to show off their pieces of crap. being the easily influence guy i am my friend persuaded me to join in. while i was out there i easily showd them up. but it wasnt enough so i decided to do a donut back wards, i succeded in doing two of them with out a problem but then a car trying to get into the mix drove past me going around in circles backwards really confused me so i hit the brake. when i realize he was coming back at me. so i let the clutch drop and CRACK!!!! shit damn what the hell was that . thats when it hit on me i have no revers

so can i have you transmission ?

if you have a 1987 Porsche 944 turbo transmission please let me know i have been looking for 1 every where there so hard to find so if you find one tread back or email me at [email protected]

Can I presuade you into selling your car before you completely destroy it? Seeing as how you're so easily influenced! j/k

No you can't have my transmission. You may have better luck looking for your transmission though. The 944S used the same trany as the turbo. It might open your search a little.

If it were me, I'd look at salvage places specializing in Porsches. Parts Heaven (Hayward, CA) is a good one. Or I'd find a deal on a parts car that's had an engine fire or some other catastophic event. Sounds like you only need it for a short time (based on your driving habits), so I wouldn't put too much money into it (heh).

Re: my transmission broke can i have yours

There is no 1989 944 S3. There a S2. S3 was the orgininal designation fro the 968.

Id buy a 89+ 951 transaxle. Stronger & LSD standard.

I wouldnt use a 924 transaxle cause you will break it quicker than you broke your old tranny. What exactly broke anyways?

968 tranny wouldnt be worth the money unless you got different gear ratio(s). 968 6th gear is equal to 951 5th gear. Onyl thing that you would most likely even notice would be a little better acceleration in 1st gear.
