need help with my car!!!

ok heres the deal... i own a 94 cougar dark green exterior with a tan top. the top is like canvas or sumthin, well lets just say i dont think u can give it a paint job. anyway i just bought the car and it was keyed big time across the whole driver side door, real deep too. i bought it with plans to give it a paint job b/c the scratch looked so bad. so i was thinnking about givinig it a black paint job, that would match the top well(tan) i think. or red. that would be hot. but the real problem is the top its got mold growing under it. i wanted to clean it but no cleaner seems to be working very well. or maybe i could jsut get a new top put in or maybe take it off and have it painted. i donno.

does anyone have any ideas about what to do with the top? is there a special cleaner i can buy? does anyone know anything about getting it removed and having a paint job and the price range? post back or email me at [email protected]

thanx
