if i remember right those are just estimates and they have a full test planned for this fall sometime

yeah, but you can totally tell that the companies entire aim is to dethrone the F1. When the CC8S failed to do so, they added 200 horsepower and tried again...
I wonder when (and if) the 300 mph barrier will be broken by a non jet propeled car. If I owned a company, my whole thing would be trying to do it with under 1000 hp. (ie 999  )

^ that would be too impractical and would not allow for a street leagal road car. the car would just be good in a straight line.
