if its not he z24 i would say low 19.0's, becasue my old 2.8 litre would beat cavaliers and it ran mid 18's

Re: 1/4mile times for a 03 cavalier

my first time ever at the track i put down a 16.1 in my Z24 auto. Had i know to lower the tire pressure and it wasnt such a hot humid day i would have been high 15's easily. Also at the time i thought 93 octane gave me a boost and didnt do any weight reduction. . .

man i was dumb. . .

Re: 1/4mile times for a 03 cavalier

the 03 came with the ecotech engine not the old 2200

2.2 03's dont run 17's lol more like low 16's with auto and high 15's with stick

kinda a downgrade from the older ld9 2.4 cavaliers which can run mid 15's stock with a stick

Re: 1/4mile times for a 03 cavalier

My first time at the track i ran a 16.1 with just an intake, with everything else stock. I think i could get 15's in no time.

Re: 1/4mile times for a 03 cavalier

God i had a catback with a 40 series,WAI and the AutoTrans Interceptor and i could barely pull a 16 flat!!! Love the LD9 but that thing did not respond well to mods like i was hoping!! Was a great bracket racer though. Won 2nd place the one day!

Re: 1/4mile times for a 03 cavalier

not respond well to mods? well the mods you did wont do much to any car with less than 200 HP. But the Ld9 responds very well to boost. I put 4.5 PSI to mine, and i lost 1.4 seconds on my 1/4 mile time
