I wouldn't suggest running 16 psi on pump gas. Most people stop at 14, and don't run it too hard. Mostly not because 16 is all that much worse than 14, but you'll be getting spikes upwards of 20psi sometimes with it set at 16. I have some pictures of the big hole in the side of my old engine that were caused by prolonged overboost. And I would make the ECU upgrade first priority.

looks like a nice ride and it looks like you got a very good deal but i would listen to broke, he knows his stuff and upping your boost on stock internals to 16psi is not a wise idea. but good luck!!

Yes those are 18"s

Thanks for all the compliments.

When I get my ashspec ECU I will also get a wideband 02, and dyno tune my car. And I have yet to get a spike of more than .5 psi with my pro-boost MBC. And with the ASHspec ECU, you can keep you stock boost solenoids and also KEEP safety boost, unlink the more expensive JWT. Im not douting you broke, im just stating what I have observed, and if I blow a hole in the block, then I get an excuse to build a new motor.
