Poly Urethane vs Urethane

Does anybody know the difference between poly urethane and urethan body kits?

Re: Poly Urethane vs Urethane

pretty sure they are the same, poly means many though so its probably a more dense or stronger urethane than the standard urethane IF there is any difference at all

Re: Poly Urethane vs Urethane

polyurethane has more "fiber" in it wich means it is "webbed" together to make it alot stronger than regular plastic urethane. The price of each shouldnt be too much different because it isnt that much different in cost to make it.

Poly is man made fibers where as the regular stuff is just molded plastic

Re: Poly Urethane vs Urethane

From my Engineering courses, i have learned that Polyurethane actually has another plastic in it, hence the Poly in front of it, while as the other is just straight Urethane or plane old plastic. Hope that helps a little
