Canadian Headlights??

Last week, I had my first nighttime drive in my "new" 98 Voyager. This van has, by far, the worst headlights of any car I have driven. Not only are they yellowed and mis-aimed, but I don't think they would be bright enough, even when those problems are corrected.

Would someone in Canada be kind enough to look at the headlights on their van and see if they are "E code"? (Either E-1 or E-4). I know that European cars sold in Canada have the far superior E code headlights that are used in Europe. I am wondering if domestic brands in Canada also have European spec headlights? If they do, I want to get myself a pair.

Headlights

I recently bought a 92 Caravan in Canada and thought the lights were out of alignment, but when I took it to the garage they said they were right on. I could hardly see at night. Bought some Silver Star lights and they are a lot better. Didn't notice any E designation on the bulbs. My lenses aren't too foggy, but reading on the forum lots of people with yellow ones are using 600 grit sandpaper to get rid of it and a few used the stuff from ebay to clean them without much success. The Silver Star lights are supposed to be the brightest ones.
