Jon's Vacation to Montana (a few pics, still looking for the others. 56k warning)

These are just a few pics that were taken a while ago that I finally had a chance to load. They're in no particular order, just to let you know.

This is a pic of me and my family. I'm on the end in teh sweatshirt, next to me is my brother, my mom, and my dad.

A pic of the Rockies in Montana

I thought this was pretty nifty. This is called the "Weeping Wall" it's a bunch of waterfalls clustered together running off the side of the rockface.

This was taken along the scenic byway, good view, but there were better.

This was taken in a secluded area of park that is reachable by a 2.5 mile hike. It's called Avalanche Lake.

This is my favorite pic of the set. This is from one side of Lake McDonnell (I think anyways).

This is just me and my brother messing around in the trees.

These are just some cascading waterfalls somewhere in the park.

This is what most of the rivers looked like; fast moving and full of rapids. This is one of the more tame ones we saw.

This is another good view. This is on the byway overlooking part of Lake McDonnell.

Hello Bambi...

Me and my brother in part of the Flathead River (I think). Don't laugh at my shirtless body, it was hot out.

This is also along the byway. If you look closely, you can see, my dad, my brother, and myself up next to the fall. I'm the farthest one up and my dad is the closest to the fall.

This is what got us there and back. Good truck.

I wish I could find more of the pictures, but we recently packed to move and I couldn't get hold of all the picture discs. Anyway, that's some scenes from my vacation.

Great pics! It sounds like you had a fun time. How long did you stay in Montana?

There's a deer right in front of you...and you shot it with...a camera?

You do know how nice Venison is, don't you?

Wildlife officers wouldn't have liked me too much after that.
