Re: how to tell lsd from non lsd

It will say LSD really big on the tranny right next to the engine code on the block. I don't think H22's come stock with lsd's, so unless the previous owner had one installed it won't say it.

Re: how to tell lsd from non lsd

Hmm, didn't know that. Well my engine says lsd really big on there so I'm assuming it would be the same for the other trannies..

Re: how to tell lsd from non lsd

There's something if you open up the tranny you are supposed to see just a hole in the center but if you have a tab inside the hole you don't have LSD. 3rd post down (when imagestation is working because it seems to be down right now): http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=642479&page=2

Re: how to tell lsd from non lsd

sry i was wrong. If you can see straight through from side to side then you have an LSD tranny. all of lsd trannys have lsd stamped on them. pics here- http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=756490

Re: how to tell lsd from non lsd

is that stamp on the tranny itself or is that the engine? The only thing i can think of is that he upgraded to lsd
