hey i was just wondering if you could use a propane torch to weld some exaust pipes.

lol, much faster, although i had a cutting head on it................... no wait, im an idiot, i used oxy/acetalyn (sp) torches not propane. got a sawzall?????

wish i did =\ im stealing police series flowmasters from a 3rd gen cop car...but im taking the whole exaust instead of just the mufflers, time is money

nope, cannot weld with propane. Get yourself a cheap Mig welder of take it somewhere.

actually, invest in a pipe cutter, much faster and no heat/unwanted light and attention to deal with... esp if ur stealing..

just get some cut-outs for $40 and weld them in... work better than any exhaust system, and don't have to worry about getting arrested

You can braze with oxygen acetylene but propane doesnt get hot enough for steel.

If I were a stealing bastard I would rent a cordless sawzall. That would make quick work of any exhaust pipes.

u dont get it..these flowmaster are police series...there like 2 1/2 ft long and so big u could roll a grapefruit in it.
