Mitsubishi GTO

Started up on a new one today,I've taken a break from modeling due to my multiple mishaps and failures, but the other day I got a wild hair up my ass to try a Tamiya Model.
So I got there Mitsubishi GTO twin turbo kit.I have most of the suspension painted but i have to decide what color I want to go with before the under body gets painted,It will be right hand drive, not many mods to this one but I am looking for some good lookin' wheels to put on it,any suggestions?

started sanding

rear suspension

I have one of those in progress right now too. Here's mine:

All I need to do is put the wipers on and put the tails on.

Re: Mitsubishi GTO

I've always liked the GTO. I need to buy it one day too. Does this kit come with engine detail or is it curbside? For the bodycolor I would suggest something bright. Red or maybe even yellow Wheels, I suggest something big. 19", lower it a little...

no engine detail, tho AMT made a dodge stealth with engine detail, you can use that engine, ive done it before, fits almost perfectly. if you search the forum you might be able to find mine.

im looking forward to more progress

I'll trade you my Tamiya Skyline R32 GTR gunmetal 5-spoke wheels, they are only scale 16 inches, but they would look awesome on a low 3000 they are also nice and wide

-Let me know if you need anything

I know how you feel, my mold lines were a huge pain to sand down.

The GTO is looking great budman, can't wait to see more.

I'm working on a GTO myself. You're doing great! The body is a pain in the ass to polish though.

Re: Mitsubishi GTO

Nice start.I've started mine.I/m using Aohima's Racing Hart type CR 19" wheels. They fill up the guards nicely. Someone on this forum might have them.
