The top hose on the cooling system blew and we replaced it. Apparently that was not the root problem. The cooling fan refuses to start and the car just overheats again.
Thermostat? fan motor? test this? What else? |

Re: cooling fan won't run
Temp sending unit and the fan relay need to be tested or replaced.

Re: cooling fan won't run
A Haynes manual will give you the specs for the sending unit, usually with a multi meter checking for ohms within a range. The relay can be checked for continuity and check for the output voltage when closed. Again a Haynes or Chilton manual would be very helpful. Most any parts store would have one for this car.
