Question 90 Astro vibration problems

I have a 90 Asto vin z. Has just over 200k miles. Van is great except when running 60-70 mph it vibrates. Not really bad, just enouh to irratate. Can't really tell where it is comming from. Also seems to have a lot of road noise, there again not bad, but can't listen to radio because of the noise. Any ideas about the vibration mainly?

Re: 90 Astro vibration problems

The vibration is very very common on these vans. I have also expierenced it. I can't be sure what it is from, but I seem to remember 2 possibilities. One was something electrical in the transmission and the other was that the driveshaft is out of balance. Hope this helps.

My experience with this was due to the motor mounts being worn out.I have a 1992 astro with -at that time -160,000 miles.
