Re: does this fit???

it all depends on what tranny you had in there before. but its is not a direct bolt in no matter what tranny you previously had.

Re: does this fit???

just look at the bell housing bolt pattern to make sure they match, then measure the rear to deturmine a short shaft or long shaft then measure to the cross member supprot and use the old mount adapter if its still good, if all matches bolt it up! try her out

Re: does this fit???

yes the 700r4 will bolt up to the engine. thats not a problem. you will need to shorten the drivshaft and move the crossmember mount. if you want a person to talk to who has just done the same swap but on a camaro, go to the camaro forum and talk to korndogg. he just swaped his powerglide to a 700r4 and can tell you spacificaly what all needs to be done. the glide is the same dimentions as a 350 so its the same swap. you can also go to different web sights, i dont remmeber what ones have the articles online but try super chevy, chevy high performance (chevyhiperformace.com), and car craft. i know atleast one of those has a good article on it adn tells you spacificaly what needs to be done and how much the shaft needs to be cut and how much the crossmember needs to be moved, i would look up the info for you but my to tired right now.
