3300 starts but won't restart. Any ideas?

I have 3300 in a '93 grand am that I am trying to sell for my girlfriend. The problem is that it seems to start (not very well, but does start) when it is completely cold. Anytime after it starts, whether it is still cold or warmed up it does not want to restart. It just crankes and somtimes sputters. When it starts the first time it runs perfect. It has got me puzzled. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Crankshaft position sensor. Located behind the Harmanic Balencer Pulley. Need to remove front right wheel to get it off. Not a very expensive part. Heats up and breaks contact. Sensor is actually two sensors in one. Tell me how it goes. -Chris

Harmonic Balencer...... sorry. Get a Haynes to show you the exact procedure for replacement. Need impact gun and large socket though to remove Pulley bolt. -Chris

Could it be anything else? Just wondering. Is there a diagram online or could someone give me a brief description on how to remove the pully and which one it is. Thank you very much for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Re: 3300 starts but won't restart. Any ideas?

The lowest pulley on the engine, passenger side of car, and you need to remove the right front wheel and splash guard to make your life easier. The belt also needs to be removed but that's like 15 seconds with a 3/8 inch rachet. The automatic belt tensioner just gets released and the belt comes right off. If you don't have air tools or an electric impact gun, you will not be able to remove the pulley to access the sensor. There is really no way around this. -Chris

What about the tool to put the sensor and harmonic balancer back on..... were talking .025 of an inch. They want $342 for that tool. Is it possible to use just a puller and not that j-37089 tool?
