what's wrong with this stratus

have a 96 stratus started dying when you slowed down or stop, done this a couple of days then it died and wouldn't start, the computer was burn up, put another computer on and done the same thing on the way home from garage, it died at stops and when you slow down took it back to the garage and they drove it and the same thing died on him then wouldnt start and the computer was zapped again, the mechanic has check everything I think he's is ready to give up to, have put another computer on started right up but died on first test drive out afraid it going to burn up this computer, HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had 2 computers go my self, also blew out the Catalytic Converter, Plugs and wires. after $3000.00 worth of repairs ther was a TSB on the damn distributor. There was a piece of slag or something inside the distributor causing an arc inside of it...... Might try to look that up.
