How do you change the front wheel bearing on a 1999 year taurus?
Your help would be appreciated in explaining how to change the front wheel bearings on a 1999 year taurus? Do the bearings go bad very often? How difficult is it to change? Thanks!!!

Re: How do you change the front wheel bearing on a 1999 year taurus?
the bearings have a good track record but I have repalced a few - if you don't have abs it's very easy- with abs is a bit more work but still not a bad job - you just take off the axle nut- and remove the 3 bolts from the back that hold the bearing in - if you have abs you need to seperate the lower ball joint and remove the axle shaft from the but to get to these bolts - then just beat the hub assy. out
