need help ASAP!!!!
I have a 1996 vw jetta gl 2.0 automatic ...i need help...while driving my car it shut off... i chanhed my pil.air filter, fuel filter... i opened the hood and had spme one hit the gas when they got it to the 3 on the RPMs a little box on the car spARKED UP..right by a spark plug...ANY HELP SOME ONE PLEASE ASAP!!!!!

Was it the distributor cap, where all the plug wires come together? You may need to change the plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. It is a liitle difficult, but it can be done without removing the aluminum intake plenum.
