Program Remote '94 Bird

I have read all the posts I could find by searching, and have not found the answer to this yet.

I am trying to get a new remote to work with the alarm system on my '94 bird.

I cannot find the 2 pins in the left rear trunk panel people talked about in other threads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You try the dealership yet? Give them a call to see if they can help you - that is if it is a factory alarm, and not an aftermarket one...

Re: Program Remote '94 Bird

Don't know for sure if this will work on a '94 but it did on my '93 and other Ford products...

Insert the ignition key and turn it to run and back to off about 7 or 8 times. The door locks should cycle about this time so leave the key in the on position. Once they do, have both remotes handy, press 1 button on each remote, the locks should cycle, then shut the ignition off. This should do it. The other thing to do is read your owners manual if you have it. It will give you the instructions.
