92 si 0r s?

okay i got a question on my girlfriends lude and was wondering if anyone could answer it. by just looking at her car it appears to be the s not the si but the engine in it is the si and she has the si alloy wheels on it. The car is an automatic and there is no spoiler on it. So would this be the s or the si? so does anyone know the answer, it doesn't matter i guess i'm just curious.

Re: 92 si 0r s?

Look at the VIN. This is from the Helm's manual, so I know it correct. Here's their example, JHMBA814*SC000001. Ignore the asterisk, it's just a "Check digit" the important number, as you can probably tell is the 4.

4= S model
5= Si model
6= VTEC model

okay i'm sorry i haven't posted back on this but i'm a lazy b!tch and didn't check for a little bit. It's the si model. The funniest thing is she got it from some shady barely speaking english dealer and it was sold to her as the s model. but when i saw the engine and thought about i realized it was probably the si. Oh was the spoiler on the si optional or did it come with standard? just curious cuz it doesn't have one. see theirs another example of me being lazy...
