'97 Corolla hood trouble

My Corolla was in an accident today, and the hood got entirely messed up. There is no engine damage, and the frame damage I managed to fix. I also took the dents out of the hood, but I'm trying to reattatch the hood (which was knocked or broken out of place in the accident). It has two arms that should somehow connect to each other, but I'm not sure if there was a third piece that connected the two arms together, because there was nothing there, but it looks like something got broken off. So, if you know anything about the hoods and how they are attatched, please help. Thanks.

Re: '97 Corolla hood trouble

they attatch to two brackets...one on each side...they pretty much slide into place and all you need to do is to bolt it on...their located on the back left and right side of the engine bay...right next to the firewall
