Improving ESI handling

Since the talon ESI isn't really the fastest car out there, i've decided to mainly go with handling, so i have some ideas, i'm just wondering if these parts are what i want. I want the suspension stiffened(to give the handling), and then the car lowered, only a 1", using the pro-kit. Heres the links for the parts, scroll down, there available for 1990-1994.

http://www.slowboyracing.com/Suspens...B/GR2/GR2.html for the shocks, cuz i'm not going risk blowing out my stocks.
http://www.slowboyracing.com/Suspens...ch/Eibach.html theres the springs i want. my car is the FWD. I will also have a front strut bar, possibly a rear, and if i can find them, a new sway bar.
