Do I get paid for the Vacation Days I didnt use? Do I get my 401k stuff back or does it transfer to my new empoyer? Do I get my money back from stocks or can I sell my stocks even though I bought them at a discounted price? Should I be posting this while Im at work? Thx |

You should get your accrued vacation paid.
Your 401K can transfer to any new job (that has a 401K plan) or the money will sit there until you retire or qualify to take it out (for a thousand different reasons) The stocks can be sold if they are publicly held. If its privately held, you'll have to consult the documentation they gave you when you received the stocks. It'll talk about how disbursements are done. No - you shouldn't have posted this from work. You should now be under the assumption that your supervisor knows you are thinking of quitting.

Re: quitting job questions
Sounds like you need to talk to the HR person at work. 401k has nothing to do with your employer I don't think. I think that you have a different 401k for every employer(I could be very wrong). That money should be in your name, but you will need to keep track of it. I myself have one floating around somewhere....Posting at work is a bad idea, thats why I do it. Come take a walk on the wild side.
Edit* yogs answered your question about 401k and of course I was wrong* PS for those of you in the IT department: Thank you for watching out for me all summer.

401 should transfer to your new job. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to sell your stocks unless it's specifically specified that you can't. I know I could sell my stocks even if I didn't quit and I'm buying them at a discounted rate too.
