HKS SSQV install with hard pipes
A friend of mine bought the HKS hard pipe kit with the 2 SSQV BoV's the other day, and we attempted to put them on. We put the 2 outer pipes on to feed the intercoolers, then put the gaskets on the 2 pipes going to both throttle bodies from the intercoolers, and set them in place. After deciding that no matter how hard I try, I still can't read Japanese, We got the pipes on with the longer part of the pipe on the IC side and the bend in the pipe on the Throttle body side. No matter where I put the flange for the BOV, the BOV hits the rails in the hood, the best place I got them to fit was the outer part of the Throttle pipes so that the BOV almost rests on the outside pipes. Does anyone have any pictures of a Z32 engine compartment with them installed, or any tips on how to get them to fit without hitting the hood? Any help would be great. Thanks.
