Service Lights

Hi folks
Dont mean to sound dumb, but can the "SERVICE NOW"message and the annoying beep be reset without going to a dealer ie manually like the old 3 series BMW.Its been counting down now for weeks.I have serviced the car myself but am getting sick of this warning.
Thanks
Carl.

service lights

hi everybody iam brand new here. regarding your service lights i hope this helps, first off i take your car is a passat ok,what you do is there 2 buttons on your dash fascia press and hold the right hand button then switch on your ignition keep holding the button then when the usual lights go out release the button and twist the left button clockwise untill the service light goes out

Thanks but my problem is not a service light, is a Service inspection that shows in mileage clock, is stays for a little while and then disappears.
It same for both light and inspection light?
