Should I buy this eclipse?

Hi, I'm new to the board and I really want an 2nd gen Eclipse. I've been looking forever because i want a GS-t but theyre it would kind of be out of my price range.I would really like a 97-99 because I think they look the best. I saw a '98 GS 5-speed for $6,995, only problem was it had 95k miles on it. Anyways, I was wondering if its possible to make a GS (2.0L 4cyl) fast without the turbo. I would add one eventually just later on, when I'm out of college and have the money. Would this car be a good buy or too many miles/no hope without the turbo? Any help would be appreciated.

just go for the car anyways, definitly get the turbo you will regret it in the long run if you dont, and as for the miles, it really dosent matter how many miles those motors have on them, ive got a buddy whos runnin a 1st gen talon turbo (91 i think) its got 104k miles on it. all he did was put on a new timing belt and the car was all set.

You could get it and put the turbo cyclone motor in

go for it bro the engine has great potential and when you have money you can turbo charge it but till then go with the basics i/h/e and you should get some decent power
