Question You guys were so much help the first time....

I came back to get some more ideas. I was here two months ago asking for advice on h&r springs and an ingalls camber kit to get my b/f for Christmas... and he loved them both! Thanks! Well, its Valentine's day coming up and he really wants new tires and rims, but I got no idea what to get. I don't even know if its 4 or 5 lug! So he has a 2-door coupe accord 2001 4 cylinder.... any advice or ideas??

Its not a very romantic gift for Valentine's day... but hopefully it'll surprise him... Thanks for your help!

well, i can tell you that they would be 4 lugs, but a suggestion. You might want to let him pic them out but surprise him on that he is getting some rims.

its really hard to suggest rims to any one, every body have different taste.
one thing I can tell you right now, 17" is smallest rims you should get for 6gen Accord(98-02). anything less looks like stock.
17" is most practical size, good for daily driving. tires for 17" still at moderate price range, lowest price $90, highest $220.
18" is less practical but still good one, need to watch out for pothole. tires pretty expensive, $120 - lowest, $280 - highest
19" is more show than anything else. very expensive, starts at $180 and it goes up and up and...

go to this thread -> http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/f964/ for rims and tires shops and rim manufacturers.

BTW, 4x114.3 is lug pattern for I4 accords. i highlighted because 6gen V6 has different lug pattern.

if you know what type of rims he wants.... you could take a picture of the rim, and put it in the card. It would keep im thinking and then give him the rims. i would be really surprised about that. But damn you spend a lot of money on your boyfriend make sure he knows how lucky he is. There really great presents to be getting him though. Good luck with him and the rims.
