I just bought a 2004 Frontier XE-V6 4x4 Crew cab. I spent this morning installing a hitch. I then wanted to install the hook-up for the trailer lights, but could find no specific wiring. My other vehicles had a bundle of wires terminating at/near the rear bumper for attaching trailer lighting. Where is the wiring for the trailer lights? Thanks for any help.

Re: Trailer lighting
Look up under the right side of the bumper . Up by the frame rail there is a harness on most .. Has a blind plug in it . Need to get the sub harnes from nissan and it just plugs in .

Re: Re: Trailer lighting
yeah I had the same problem... go to AutoZone and spend 29.99 to get the adapter. I had to order it but no big deal because nissan wanted a lot more of it! works great though!

Re: Trailer lighting
just go to uhaul and get the wiring done its about $37.00. or if u buy the part ill give u the wiring diagram. make sure you get a converter, not just a regular 4way.its easy, ive only done about 100 wiring jobs on that same truck.

Heres a link for the harness, my local Nissan dealer wants 130 bucks for this, this place is asking 32 bucks.
