Exclamation Undercar Neon Help.

I have a 90 z24 and I got an undercar blacklight kit. But when I look under my car on the driver side, the only place to put the lights is taken up by the fuel line and brake lines. That is where there is a groove in the underbelly of the car that would be perfect to mount the lights. If I put them anywhere else the bulbs will be visible, and I don't want that.

Any ideas??

I could move the brake lines and fuel line, but they are in that groove so they are protected. Hmmmmmm...

I don't quite know what you're talking about. I don't think I have anything that I can fold down. Is it inside or outside of the groove where the fuel & brake lines run?

I've got some pics but my car is pretty much stock except your basic package of rims, system, and soon to be blacklight undercar kit(with music interface), but I'll try and upload them sometime.

dont let what XSuROsISX says get to you, he just goes around talkin his shit...

seriously though, pikachoo have you considered the posibility of making a bracket and just bolting it on somewhere on the underside of the car, this way you dont have to move nothin.

Actually I think that is my only option left. The only problem is that the bulb will be slightly below the frame of the vehicle meaning
1. People will be able to see the bulb which I think is tacky.
2. If I hit a speed bump wrong...bye bye lights.

Then again if I move he fuel and brake lines out of their little protected groove under the car and I hit a speed bump wrong and it's bye bye fuel and brakelines. Not good either way.

what about an upside-down shaped "u" bracket with the light inside of it...like this:

___________
underside of car | |bracket |
with brake/gas lines|___| [bulb] |

i know it aint the best diagram around, but i think u get where im goin with it....

What kind of undercar kit do you have... If you have street glow they come with instructions on how to put them on your car. A least thats what they did for me!

Red face

I think an underbody black light kit would look better on a 1985 toyota camry than a cavalier.
