I wouldnt cut my stock springs to lower the car. You stock springs arent ment to be modified and they cant handle the drop. I would say go with this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33582 Or this..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW They will run you anywhere from 140 shipped to 170 shipped depending on which ones you choose. And Tein makes some quality products. You wont be dissatisfied. I have the Tein S-Techs on my car and I Love them. |

Re: Lowering a RS
you can go to auto zone and buy these things that go over ur springs and u just tighten them down.. 2 come in a pack.. they are like 5 - 10 bucks a pack or something.. they work.. i know a few ppl that have done it .. the ride isn't so hot but if u don't lower it that much i don't think that it will affect the ride to bad?

Re: Lowering a RS
eibach makes really good springs, although they are a little spendy. and if you're looking at adjusting it to your own height, get ground control coilovers and they are too a little spendy, but they ride about 100x better then the cheap aftermarket coiloves, and you dont' get that bouncy effect.
