Distributer difference part II

Hi,

I picked up a distributer from a 1990 Civic EX 4d at the junkyard and would like to ask if it will work in my 89 Si d16a6? And how about the throttle body?

Thanks.

Re: Distributer difference part II

The Civic EX has a d16a6, the same as an Si Hatchie. It should work.

The throttle bodies should be identical, but I cannot confirm that. There are a few dudes here with EX's, you could ask them to measure the diameter for you.

Re: Distributer difference part II

Thanks for the reply. They look identical but everywhere I look there are two part numbers listed, one for the 89 Si and a different one for the 90 EX.
