Avoid the photo ticket!

I have heard stories of people spraying their licence plates with clearcoat paint to avoid speed cameras, but does anyone know if this spray actuall works:

http://platespray.ca/

or is it a scam?

Our province is getting more red light cameras, and threats of photo radar are rampant, so, before I spray my plate and try it out down the street, does anyone have an opinion?

(ahem....not that I would ever knowingly break the law.........)

Re: Avoid the photo ticket!

Ive seen those things before...havent tried it myself but my frieds tell me that it works great. In toronto, they have this system for the highways where you can go into the collectors lane, thats less travelled, but you have to pay for it. the way it works, is that they take a pic of your plates when you enter and then send you the bill by mail....theyve used the spary and have never received the bill...

Re: Avoid the photo ticket!

Those type of products actually work quite well. A few of my mates have had their plates done and haven't been caught by speed cameras or red light cameras.

Some brands of clear hair spray work just as well. When the flash goes off, it just reflects the light much brighter, making the plates un-readable.

Ah the lengths humans will go to to push the boundaries set by governing bodies they elect. Time, more money, effort - just to get to the next place to push some more boundaries. The irony.

If you are running red lights, you are an idiot who needs to be taught basic rodskills before someone gets hurt.

Re: Re: Avoid the photo ticket!

jcz1987-- Mail me your drivers license, so I can cut it up and send it back to you, Red light cameras make 20,000 times more sense than speed cameras.

People, if you're breaking the law, then deal with it, simple as that.
