Spongy brakes - Typical?

I have had my Blazer for almost 6 years now (1996 4.3 LS). As far back as I can remember, the brakes have always felt very soft and far from being touchy. On the other hand, my 1994 Chevy 1/2 ton truck's brakes are so touchy that they almost throw you through the windshield.

Is it typical in Chevy Blazer to have soft and spongy brakes? I would like to have them a little more sensitive to braking, especially when pulling a trailer. Everytime I have had the brakes serviced, I get the same pedal response.

How are your brakes on your Chevy Blazer?

Re: Spongy brakes - Typical?

The question is, is your blazer's brake fine and you 1/2 ton's brakes need adjustment.
