ok so i go to spray my f40 with testors red and i spray a very light coat over it then come out a few minutes later and it is really dull. anbody know why? iv had problems with testors red before. im switchign to tamiya after this because iv tried there sprays twice and i love them
|

Yep, been there done that. Testors is like a box of chocalates, you never know what your going to get. I used to use testors paints exclusively trashing every other model because of the paint job then one day I came across the more expensive tamiya paint can and it sprayed so much better.

A really light coat of any paint will probably be dull. Do several light caots followed by one or two heavier or wet coats
