Compass Mirror
I have an '01 LS. I am wanting to swap the mirror out for one of the mirrors like in the Tahoe that have the compass and or temp in it. My mirror has the maplights in it so I have a power source up there already. What would I need to do get a mirror like that up there?

on that link he says he got the mirror cheap from a junk yard. All the salvages here want around $80.00 for the mirror with out the temp sensor that is extra. Any ideas where I can get one cheap? I have been looking at e-bay but i would rather get it in person.

Eighty dollars seems kind of high. A Pick-yer-own part junk yard might let one go for under fifty. Especially if they don't think the mirror is anything special when you bring it up to the counter.

I got mine at a junk yard in southwestern VA for $35 w/ sensor. It was a large "pick you own part" style junk yard where most of the parts are still on cars - rather than one where they have chopped and sorted the parts.
