A Matter of Etiquette

I pose a question for those that are up on their Etiquette.
What is the proper way to handle thing's if your in a very fine restaurant with your date and you sneeze and blow a booger into your soup ?
Do you scoop it out ?
Leave it there and eat around it ?
Ask to be excused for the incident and request another bowl ?
Hope there's nothing on your upper lip to embarrass you further ?

The proper ediquette would have been to cover you mouth and nose with your napkin.

Get a new bowl of soup and stop using it as a snot rage.

Re: A Matter of Etiquette

complain to the waiter that the cook blew a booger into your soup, and demand a fresh bowl. But DO NOT give him your current bowl until he brings you a fresh one, otherwise he will just remove the booger and bring you back your original bowl.

Re: A Matter of Etiquette

If your date hasn't seen it, talk to her to keep her attention on you and not on the soup.

Turn your spoon in the soup to diluate/hide the bogger

Stop eating and tell the waiter/waitress that you keep place in your stomach for the next steps of the menu.

If everybody has seen it, you're dead

Re: A Matter of Etiquette

Tell the missus that you wouldn't have sneezed if she was giving you head. Maybe she'll get the hint.

Re: A Matter of Etiquette

I think the 'proper etiquette' would be to scoop it out. But thats not what I would have done.

Edit: And obviously you would ask the waitor for another spoon. THAT is the proper way!

Re: A Matter of Etiquette

Personally I would've stopped and asked for another bowl, but my GF would've been laughing her ass off!
