Engine wiring. Need help.

i'm making a '70 dodge challenger and i would like to try wiring the engine for extra realism. Can anyone help me with pictures or diagrams, either of the real thing or one you have made yourself?

Huummmm... that's the stuff (stupidely smilling ) !!
I really have to finish the body on mine... it's the only step left to finish then put it together. It should be finish be now but I was waiting for the "Tamiya Model Magazine HOW TO sepcial edition"... which never came... it'll be a year now since I ordered it !!!

Ps, back then I had a complete diagram to do the wiring but I don't seem to be able to get my hand on it for now !! Sorry.

Well, not the one your doing but a close friend of that model... I was building the Charger R/T from Revell. Quite a nice kit to do. Not finish yet but what is done is quite right on.

And for the diagrams... I didn't found all I had back then but here something I used that helped me a lot... so those VERY knoledgeable guys always saying "Naaah, you've wired that all wrong, the sequence of firing is all wrong.....!" have to shut the hell up !!
wiring link

Sorry for the rest of the documentation but maybe I'll find it in the mess that I call a "complete working center" !

Thanks for the link but it doesn't need to be quite that accurate. The distributor cap (i think thats what it's called) is hidden by the air filter, i think it is, that sits right ontop.
I've already started and it's proving to be a real pain in the ass. But it will look good when/if it's finished.
