Aftermarket Ignition...
When would be the best time to install an aftermarket igniton system. I'm mostly stock right now but figured this would increase my spark and I'd get at least a better idle. Thought about the Screamin Demon from Howell Automotive but I don't see how the coil pack can effect voltage output to the plugs. You'd have to have an amplifier source to boost spark output like a MSD Sport Compact unit or something. Not too sure if it is good for a stock set up though.

The Best time? depends on what your plans but add an msd should help your fuel effenicy. there are different ignitions and setups depening on your build up. For now just buy the msd sport compact it maybe a little pricey but what the hell for the love of cars lol. If u want to save a little just get a msd 6al.

MSD 6al? What is that? Future mods include chill factory turbo or Nitrous Express, haven't decided yet. I know I'll definetley need one for those applications. I was just wondering for an all bolt on application like mine. I don't see the harm in a little extra juice to my spark plugs on a NA engine. Couldn't hurt anything except my wallet.
