Re: integra needed

gs-r most definitly, if you have more money invest in a Type-R but dont go LS since the gs-r motor is more powerful
LS= 140-150ish HP
GS-R= 170 ish HP
Type-R= 195ish HP
so slappin on a turbo on the gs-r would be much better than ls non-vtec better yet the Type-R
unfortanutely i drive a LS non vtec and the engine is pretty sorry compared to most newer cars out there today but im sawppin in a type-r engine in my car so im not worried about it

nowdon't down the ls. for a non-vtec, what ive done to my car is just perfect. now think about this. the ls motor is actually one of the best motors honda ever made. the b18a that is. you can actually get a higher boost out of that engine. which in turn is more hp. now the vtec is a work of art in itself. with the high compression that it produces b/c of the vtec you cannot boost as high as the ls. plus with the vtec more problems can occur. now with the type r all you are really paying for is the name. you are better off getting the gsr. unless you have money to blow. consider this too. the gear ratio in the non vtec engines is better for a turbo b/c of the longer gear ratio. so in conclusion get the type r if you just happen to have some cash to blow, than if you just don't have the money for that than i would go for a gsr, great potential for power especially if turbo'd, than last the ls. is a great car for a reasonable price. has strong internals and the potential for the ls/vtec conversion. boost the ls/vtec and you have one hell of a power plant.

Re: integra needed

o.k the b18a or b is not the best motor honda ever made. not to be a dick or anything but its not. r/s is terrible on that thing for high rpm. tho it can take some boost.10-12 psi with a good kit and good tune. you will see promising numbers.get a good highflow fuel pump and all the goodies and youl be straight. dont get the gsr if you just want to turbo.ls is cheaper and in some cases lighter than the gsr. plus i think all gsr's come with ac. ls is the way for turbo.
