Timing Upgrade

Was it +19 degrees on the G20?

I can't remember, I'm gonna check it today again

If you're going beyond 17 deg BTDC, it's best to do it on a dyno. Do not tolerate any knocking.

How does one advance the timing in a P10? I recall checking the timing on my '70 El Camino with a timing light and adjusting the timing by turning a bolt. Is it a similar process for the SR20DE?

Very similiar. Only difference is you have to deal with a ECU now. It is quite an easy process. Go here for info on how to do it:
