b18 crank pulley
does anyone know if it is possible to get the pulley out of my b18 with the engine in place. or does the engine have to be out.

i did it, there's not a lot of space but it's possible

yep, on a hoist
![]() i'm sure it's doable on jack stands tho, just need a chain wrench to wrap around the pulley to stop it from moving, and a 1/2" breaker bar, spray some penetrating lube on it an hour in advance and torque on her hehe, should come off before i put my LS into my hatch i took the bolt out to change the timing belt and such, so it wasn't so tight on it when i needed to take it off again, here's a pic of when i had it on the bench tho.. sometimes they can be a pain you just gotta keep workin at it ![]()
