Camshaft Position Sensor?
I have a 2001 Rodeo Sport 2WD with the 2.2 4-cyl engine. Recently my CEL has been coming on intermittently, seemingly at random times. I haven't been able to pinpoint any kind of conditions that exist every time the light is on (ie, hard acceleration, cold start, etc), but I did notice that sometimes when I start the vehicle and put it in gear it will stall out. This happens about once a week at the most, and it does not always coincide with the CEL. Are the two problems related?
I took the truck to my usual technician and he said the CEL codes indicated a problem with the Camshaft Position Sensor. Although I trust the guy (I've used him for several of my vehicles), he speaks russian and very little english, and so has a problem explaining himself sometimes. Does anyone have an idea off the top of their head about my situation? Thanks! -Dan |

st charles isuzu. Tell them you heard about them on the web and they will give you a cheaper rate, and most likely free shipping.
