cleaning injectors

I am looking into cleaning my fuel injector since the motor has been on the stand for about a year now. I am thinking the injectors are going to be crystallized from sitting. I called around and found Napa is one of the only places around that does it and they want $25.00 an injector which is going to be over $160.00, is there a way to clean them well myself that someone may know of?

Re: cleaning injectors

you can buy some fuel injector clean for about 8 bux at autozone, all you do is pour it into the gas tank and it should clean them pretty well as you drive.
