Re: have you bought honda's

Nope.... Still don't own a Honda. Hopefully will be posting pictures in the next couple of days. This winter some serious mods for the 'ol 968. Hopefully with the Speed Force Racing supercharger, also looking into the one from 9M racing in the UK. Also, it's been a while since something has broken, and I can only hope the rest of our community is having the same luck. 8)

Re: have you bought honda's

I check every couple days. i'd spend all day on here if there was more activity. Maybe I'll post pics of my new 944. Damned if I've had time to wash it though.

Re: have you bought honda's

Checking every day or two. Nothing to reply to though.

Maybe we should try new things like:

1) pics of your car
2) name that part
3) car v/s car kill strories
4) customization ideas
5) unique fixes

Re: have you bought honda's

As a matter of fact I am referring to them..... Why, Do you have a forced induction kit available for a 968 W/ Tiptronic? If you do I would be more than interested......... 8)

Re: have you bought honda's

93 coupe with tiptronic, yes LHD. Incidentally, the "sport" was UK only and CS's are even more of a rare bird this side of the pond. 93-944.... I like the Ford BBQ idea, but perhaps a 914 motor or maybe even a carrera 4 cam for the Karmann?

Re: have you bought honda's

W/ engine supports and a stronger tranny, I can bolt on up to a 2.7 911 engine! Oh, and some plumbing for an oil tank.

Finding a carrera 4 cam engine on this side of the ocean would cost more than a 2.4S 911 engine installed w/ upgraded tranny. I've thought about it, but can't break away from the economics of that 1.2 VW engine.

neo: you out of your mind? I love my wife, but I also love my Ghia too. Let her ruin her own car, leave mine alone!

Re: have you bought honda's

available for 944, Carbon Dynamic Air Box, Filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon airbox containing a washable filtering element. Substituting the original airbox with a CDA, cold air is directly channelled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine. The CDA gives you a real dynamic supercharging system to improve remarkably the power and torque performance of the engine,

Re: have you bought honda's

Any experience with one of those. I'll have my 944 running right soon so I can start putting a little performance work into it. Everybody has told me notto just start throwing throwing things on this car, because it's not an econo car that will make gains on everything. Do breather mods see good results on these cars?

Re: have you bought honda's

Actually, I'm not talking about an intake system by itself. I am referring to forced induction... Supercharging or turbocharging. 9M and Speed Force make supercharger kits, and Powerhaus, and Anderson racing do turbocharging for the 968...
