Question '98 2.4L Timing chain tensioner shoe... help

I have dug into the 2.4L attempting to remove the timing chain housing. I have followed all directions in the reapir manual, I have removed all the bolts specified in the manual. I have removed the tensioner w/piston but I cannot figure out how to remove the timing chain tensioner shoe. The TC housing is loose and wants to come off, but the stud that the shoe pivots on has a round head (as apposed to a hex head) with crosshairs in the center of the head. I cant figure out how to remove that stud, it seems to be the last thing holding the housing to the engine block. The repair manuals I have searched show this stud with a simple "C" clip at the tip (easy enough) and dont mension anything about what I actually see here. The chain is off, the bolts are removed, so close... please help.

Re: '98 2.4L Timing chain tensioner shoe... help

In case anyone else runs into this, heres what to do... the stud that the tensioner pivots on IS bolted into the block through the Timing Chain Houseing. Behind the tensioner shoe,at the pivot point, theres a 10mm hex head. First you need to stick a punch tool into the hole on the shoe next to the stud. This hole is actually a clip that is spring loaded, when pressed this realeases the "lock" on the tensioner shoe (instead of a C clip). Pull the shoe simultaniously to remove, then unscrew the 10mm bolt/stud and remove the Timing Chain Housing, Vuallla! Thats something they dont tell you in the Hays manual, Bas*@rds!
