Bmw 325 Individual?

Hey everyone i just wanted to ask a question regarding the 1992 BMW 325 Individual, I recently purchased This car and i would like to know what "individual" is about, is this some sort of special release?

PS Its a UK car but strangely the back seat seat belts are in the middle of the car , is this normal?

I have never heard of a 325 Individual. Are you referring to the i designation at the end of the letters? like 325i, 318is, and etc...?

the back seatbelts are in the middle in all e36's. so are the window switches. its a werid car, but i love it

I think that the "individual" referrs to the paint on your car. BMW-cars can be ordered with individual-paint-codes. Newer Bimmers are named individual with some extra options aswell...
