Re: QUESTION?!?! Whats the Best Suspension out there For a 97 Max?
Depends on what "best" is. Do you want handling or looks? How important is ride comfort? How about durability? I think you'd be best served by this link: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaHandling
I'm currently riding on H&R springs with Illumina struts. My car is lowered by about 1.5" and I can corner as well as stock coupes. It's a comfortable ride though, better than my previous Integra. The Illuminas are also adjustable so if I have a passenger who I'd rather be comfortable, I can adjust the comfort with the turn of a screw. Also, Illuminas are warrantied for life provided you don't drop the car further than 1.5". ~THT |

I have the same setup and love it. Illumina's are a bit expensive but they're worth it.

Re: QUESTION?!?! Whats the Best Suspension out there For a 97 Max?
Right now I still have a stock suspension but I did throw in a rear sway-bar from Progress and a front tower brace from OTTO Racing, the change is incredible. Before you spend any money on shocks, struts and springs... add the sway bar and brace. I guarantee you will NOT regret it and it's not a waste of money cuz you can still use them if you decide to get a suspension system anyway... they will only enhance it further. Have fun in the corners.
