Rear Lift Gate

How do I open the rear liftgate from inside?

There is no inside hatch release if you don't have the button on the dash.

OK - that's a given - so how can it be opened if the ONLY way is from the outside handle and that does NOT work?

There is a round "pop out" on the inside plastic cover by the latch. Take that out and by fishing around in there with a screwdriver you should be able to pop it open. I haven't figured out how to remove the latch to repair it, but I am working on it.
