Angry Rough Idel

Hey got a 95 5.2L w A/T with a rough idel its either on start up after sitting a few days or after a run on the interstate. Does not do it all the time its real erratic its driving me nuts. New plugs wires cap rotor fuel pump even did the spark plug reroute (by the way did help the fuel ping some but still does it any IDEAS??) no codes either took it to a shop they cleaned the T.B. and checked the IAC said it was fine??

Only thing left to replace is the throttle position sensor. Try that.

I have that same problem with my 89 Dakota and I replaced all those and the TPS and it still does the same thing.

Idle Problems

My 90 did the same thing for months, replaced temp. sender unit, plugs, wires, dist., etc., finally found a LOOSE GROUND WIRE at the battery! Reconnected same, problem cleared up. Several months later, starting to do the same thing, except now only intermittent. Did the water in tank thing, injector cleaner, searched for loose wires. About to give up, except the thing has 200K and other than the idle problem, which is annoying, don't get me wrong, it still goes! Going to try fuses, coolant temp. sender unit again, then manifold leaks (soapy water or WD-40 sprayed around seals works good, usually. Wish me luck...
